Advancement through technology
25 years ago BV decided to dispense with the ugly heavy steel plate fabrications, that technically did nothing except form a shape for a lining. The idea was to replace them with a modern, purpose formulated polymer whilst maintaining the qualities of steel but removing drawbacks such as weight and vibration fatigue cracking. After all, the vibratory bowl is round and therefore inherently structurally rigid.
BV replaced the majority of steel parts with a modern, high tech material that cannot crack or age, and is hardened and weighs much less. The end result is a stronger, durable, lower weight product that is simpler and less costly to produce - but most importantly functions more effectively in every way.
The power from the machine’s motor goes into driving the finishing process, not into vibrating a heavy steel structure, resulting in BV machines finishing faster and more uniformly - thus reducing costly process times. There are of course, many other advantages to the application of such modern technologies in what is basically a simple vibratory bowl machine.
